Jaguar Auto Repair Hilton Head   Marc Stern

Marc grew up in Chicago and Wisconsin, where he and his family raised and trained horses. He later moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and began his nearly 30 years of automotive mechanic experience by opening up his own Alfa Romeo auto repair shop. After twelve years of operation, Marc sold his business and moved to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. There he worked at a Mazda/Mitsubishi dealership for six years, during which time he became a Certified Master Technician for Mazda and Mitsubishi. Marc then moved on to Savannah, Georgia and started working at Andy Greene's Sports and Vintage Race Cars, where he specialized in repairing and maintaining sports cars, vintage, and modern race cars. Seven years later, in the beginning of 2005, Marc left Savannah to come to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and establish what is now BPC Motorworks.

Over the last four years, Marc has developed a steady and loyal clientele that consists mainly of Jaguar, BMW, Land Rover, Rolls Royce, Alfa Romeo, MG, Mercedes, and vintage collector car owners.

In his spare time, Marc is also an avid race car driver. His passion for racing his own cars began in 1981. Some of his most recent accomplishments include 1st place in the SCCA South Carolina Region, Buck Muse Memorial, 2008, and 1st place in Race One and Race Two of the 2006 Jim Stark Memorial Double SARRC Races.

He also repairs and maintains racing vehicles including Formula Ford, Formula Atlantic, Formula 2000, Lotus, and Mazda Miata.
